Pickles
A small amount of daikon pickles, natural sauerkraut (purchased in
a natural foods store) and other natural pickles may be used daily
as recommended by your macrobiotic counselor. The standard diet will
use a small volume of pickles, approximately one tablespoon daily.
The pickles need to be rinsed in cold water, then placed in cold water
for at least 5 minutes before they are served.
